Nano brow,
Realistic hair strokes.

What is the nano brow?

Nano brows are the most advanced technique in permanent makeup, using a precision, single-needle machine to create fine, natural hair-strokes that mimic real brow hair. The result is soft, realistic, and fully customized to your face shape.

Because the technique is more controlled and less invasive than older methods like microblading, nano brows hold their shape far longer. Over time, microbladed strokes tend to blur and lose their definition, eventually looking more like a soft shadow than individual hairs. Nano Brow strokes may soften slightly with age, but they still read as strokes, not a blur.

This difference is most noticeable on oily or mature skin. In my experience, no matter how many microblading sessions a client has had, the strokes on mature skin simply don’t hold. A single Nano Brow session stays crisp and defined where repeated microblading fails. This is the technique I trust for my own brows, and the one I recommend to clients who want the most natural, long-lasting result available today.

Do not let any lotion, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 14 days after your procedure.

During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head and avoid hot showers.

For the next 8 hours use a damp cotton round or paper towel and gently pat on the treated area every 30 mins to absorb any excess lymph.

Day 2-7: Gently wash the brows with antibacterial soap once in the morning, rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply rice grain size amount of aquaphor to both brows. Repeat the process at night. The following must be avoided during all 14 days post Nano Brow procedure:

Increased sweating

• Practicing sports

• Swimming

• Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi

• Sun tanning or salon tanning

• UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading

• Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck

• Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment

• Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris

• Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds

• Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles

• Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab

Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post Nano Brow procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.

FAQs

How long does Nano Brow last?

Typically 1–2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure, though most clients return for a touch-up around the 12–18 month mark.

Is Nano Brow the same as microblading?

No. Nano Brow uses a fine single needle to deposit pigment in tiny dots rather than blade-cut strokes, which heals more precisely and holds better on oilier skin types.

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients need two sessions — the initial appointment plus a touch-up 6–8 weeks later to refine shape and color. That said, it depends on how your skin heals: some clients retain pigment well and don’t need a touch-up, while others need one to fill in spots that faded during healing.

Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most clients feel little to no discomfort — many of my clients actually fall asleep during the procedure. Pain tolerance varies, but it should never be a painful experience. If you’ve had a rough experience elsewhere and are hesitant to try again, know that with proper numbing technique, Nano Brow shouldn’t hurt like that.

What’s the healing process like?

Brows appear darker and bolder for the first few days, then flake and soften over 7–10 days as pigment settles to its true color. Compared to microblading or shading techniques, Nano Brow healing is much lighter — it feels more like light exfoliation than a wound healing.
